This was perfect as far as the size i needed for my kitchen table chairs. However, it remains to be seen how the paper thin piece of felt will hold up to daily use. I knocked one star off for this, in the anticipation that it will fail sooner than later. I will update in 6 months with the results, after use.Update 6+ months later…The thin felt lasted a couple of weeks. I ended up buying adhesive felt pads and sticking them to the bottom. This has worked much better but can’t say much to the pads themselves but that they do stay on the chairs.I purchased the 1/2" to 5/8" size for the legs of my Avers Upholstered Side/Dining Chairs (Wayfair). The fit is secure enough, ideally could be a bit tighter but they stay in place when the chairs are being pushed around on my wood dining floor. They look like a natural extension of the legs and I feel so much better knowing I can push the chairs back under the table without leaving scratch marks.
