I wore these to Pride in the Parade and they were a crowd hit! Unfortunately during the event one of the sticks in the wings broke in half so I could still use them. I'll need to replace the stick inside the wing for next use but for the price they held up pretty well and they photograph beautifuly!These wings are huge, they are beautiful but unfortunately the print is only on one sideIt was very pretty. I liked that it came with the sticks to hold the wings open. I just wish it wasn't as long. I was tripping over it all night.I wore these wings for Halloween and got tons of compliments on them! They are definitely easier to wear without the poles in them as they add weight and make it a pain in the butt to bend down and pick things up or sit in the car with a seat belt on. The wings are a shiny parachute material and withstood more stepping on them and dragging on the ground than I expected. I went to a multi stage EDM show and 2 house parties so they took a beating. They don't provide any warmth so beware you will still need to wear something more than a cocktail dress underneath like I did, but they are great for hiding those moments you don't want people to see (like that wedgy you have from your fishnets?). I will say that I am 5'4 and they did drag on the ground a bit behind me. I had to keep the wrist bands on the entire time, even though I wanted to wear it like a cape for part of the night. But they are worth a bit of fussing because they look completely majestic when opened up completely with the poles in them. They hold their shape really well. I will certainly wear them again to shows and festivals!I bought these to attend Sea World's Spooktacular with my daughter. (She wanted to be butterflies.) I loved the size. I am 6ft tall and have a 6ft wingspan (so to speak). I was able to extend my arms fully and not have a "dip" under my arms. That being said, I wish the rods were a little bit longer and more sturdy. It's an easy fix to buy something from the hardware store and replace the thin rods with something a bit more heavy duty. The rods were a tad bit short, even for me. Also, I wish the print was on both sides. It's only on one side. Not a big deal if you're just posing for photos because you can face the printed side any way you like. They are really thin and light, so any slight breeze will blow them all over the place, which made it difficult to take photos. All that aside, I got a LOT of compliments on the wings and my daughter loved them, as well.Went to global in it this year and it was comfy, the material was so soft and well made and everyone had a great time watching me flutter around! It made me feel magical and was really easy to wear and have on me for hours at a timeI had to wear this backwards for my photo shoot because the cape is only printed on one side and the other side is white. So if you wear it the way intended, the colour is only on the back, not the front. The sticks are a bit fragile too. Otherwise it was nice and big and pretty.The wings arrived missing half of one of the "wands" that extend the wings :( I don't have time between now and the event to return them, so I'll have to find some kind of solution myself. Also, the wings have a split down the middle in the back that is not shown in the photos. Not sure why that's there, peacock tail fans don't have a split like that so I'll be sewing it back together. The collar that holds them on is ridiculously small, so unless you're a child be prepared to replace it. The fabric that it's made out of is very pretty and silky, so at least there's that ?Gustó mucho, las personas preguntaban dónde lo había comprado.Es muy cómodo, se pude llevar en una maleta sin problema, porque es tela. También funciona para taparte jajajaEs un disfráz sencillo, y si eres de las personas que no les gusta esforzarse mucho por este tipo de reuniones, cumple con el cometido.Considerar que las alas son muy largas, es fácil arrastrárlas.El precio quizá es un poco alto para lo que realmente es, pero fue de los disfraces más económicos que encontré.Very cute and long but the neck strap was quite small.My wings came without the sticks you put in the ends to elongate them. I had to makeshift the sticks out of chopsticks I taped together... definitely doesn’t have the same effect without the sticks. With the sticks in, the wings are awesome.
