I cannot wear socks with an uncomfortable toe line. These are the worst! They do heat up quickly. That is the ONLY positive remark I can offer. They do warm medicinally or physically-induced frozen feet. But, they are incredibly uncomfortable and not AT ALL worth the price! (This coming from one that would pay ANYTHING to be able to fall asleep without the hindrance of frozen feet.)I live in Maine and i have Reynolds . I'm outside every day . The socks are heated across the bottom of the toe area .Perfect!A good 6 hrs on med with temps in the low teensAnd all's well .Great price ...I purchased these socks to wear when my daughter has softball games on really cold days. These socks are pretty awesome! The fit nicely and the battery lasts longer than I was expecting it too. The socks are a nice thick material and have a battery pocket at the top to hold the battery securely so it doesn’t slip or slam around when walking.There are 3 temperature settings 50%, 75% and 100%. If I wear them on the 100% setting I can get through 2 softball games roughly 3 hours or so without having to recharge. On the 75% setting I can get 4-5 hours and at 50% the battery will last 5-6 hours.The heat coils are on the top of the foot and not the bottom which is really nice as you wont damage them by walking on them. They are hand wash only though so I just have to be careful not to accidentally throw them in the washing machine with the rest of the laundry.Really pleased with these socks. I wore these heated socks for skiing in 23 degree weather and had it on low setting and it lasted all day. They kept my feet feeling warm. Good for people with Raynaud Syndrome. When I wore them to test them out without wearing shoe, the bottom of the feet did feel neglected as the heating element was only on top of the foot. Length of sock was fine for me at 5' 2" with the battery pack sitting above my ski boot, but may not be long enough for taller people.One size fits all was a little small for me. Battery life is pretty short.My feet are cold all the time from my neuropathy. I double up on socks of all kind and it never feels like I can get them warm. These have been wonderful!!! I ended up buying multiple pairs of these socks. I keep a pair in my drawer at work and use them almost every day cause they keep it like a freezer in our office. These are affordable and have worked just fine for me. Battery pack is easy to place and completely unnoticeable. When I wear them to work, no one can tell I have them on unless I show them. Love them!!Some of the reviews said they were not earm enough, but I found them to be perfect. I bought them to wear during dropoff duty at school. I wear boots and wool socks but 45 min standing on concert still makes my toes cold. I will test these Monday. They look well made and I did a protest the socks in my basement during game night. I wore them without shoes and my feet were warm for 3 hours on the high setting before I noticed the batteries were depleted. My toes remained warm for the next 45 min.I love these socks. They will keep you extremely warm on low. They are a little thick so the battery will be tight on your legs but they are very warm.
