My floor although not wood has a wood grain texture and roughness intimidating wood. The floor wore out the different types of felt pads we tired almost right away. I have this floor less then a year and this is the third and last floor protector I think I will have need. They slipped on the legs easily and the chairs slide back and forth with no effort at all. I see no reason why they won't hold up for quite sometime. I highly recommend these protectors. I am really happy to have found them.Hard to fit over large stool legs.Of course, I liked everything about them, because, they are doing their job PERFECTLYOverall, I am so happy with these and they are very easy to use on my just-refinished hardwood floors.I bought one set of clear and one set of brown for my brown wood chairs. Very tight for 3 inch round wont stay on.The leg caps are simple to install and are almost invisible. No more noise with chair legs scraping the floor! A must-have purchase if you have someone living on the floor below you. Excellent product.We tried other cloth leg caps but they eventually sagged and fell off. These plastic caps stay put and the chairs slide easily across our tile floor.
